Event description

2. CIC Audience.JPEG

Developing really good (and really effective) product copy in regulated industries requires a strong content strategy, solid UX writing chops, and something akin to pixie dust—creativity within one heck of a lot of constraints. Sometimes those constraints are a legacy from “the way things have always been done”, other times they’re a legal requirement; either way, the challenge remains the same: how do you translate complicated language into easy-to-understand, plain ol’ English while navigating a very real set of limitations about what you can say and how it needs to be said?

This panel brings together content strategists and writers from healthcare, fintech, and customer experience who are tackling creativity in constraint.

Impact

We had 120 RSVPs, which resulted in about 30 attendees—pretty good considering in was a stormy evening in San Francisco. The intimate group made for a more roundtable conversation with the whole audience, who weren’t afraid to ask their own questions. Connections were made, hugs were shared…couldn’t have asked for anything more.
